I’m on the road to Manchester in what is going to be my weekly commute from now on: today is my first day as Membership Services Director at the Co-op Digital Team.
This is the role of a lifetime: responsible for developing membership services at the heart of the Co-op, making membership a rewarding digital and physical experience in the UK’s original member-owned organisation.
I am very excited to be joining what I truly believe is the best Digital team in the land, and looking forward to creating fantastic new services and products, championing a better way of doing business for the rapidly growing membership of the Co-op. I am very excited by the opportunity to do justice to the ideals of the cooperative movement in today’s Digital world.
I will be writing more about this fantastic business soon. In the meantime, I ask you to read the beautiful prose and considered thoughts that Stephen Foreshew-Cain wrote when he joined the team last October.
