Roberto HortalI am Roberto Hortal Muñoz, the Director of Membership Products and Services at Co-op Digital.
Membership is at the core of the Co-op difference: our members. Members have earned over £45 million from the 5% they get back by buying our own-brand products and services. They also earn 1% for local causes and since September they’ve accumulated over £9 million. Last April we gave £9 million to over 4,000 local causes across the UK. And we’ve welcomed over 1 million new members!

Previously, I was Head of Connected Home at EDF Energy‘s Blue Lab, the Open Innovation Incubator and Startup Accelerator, a position I took in 2016 after 5 years as Head of Digital at EDF Energy, delivering a program of Digital Transformation that was central to EDF Energy’s winning the Marketing Society’s Grand Prix in 2015.

I joined EDF Energy from RSA insurance group, which I joined as Head of Digital for MORE TH>N before moving to the Central and Eastern Europe business as Digital Director to take the direct insurance business model to the rest of Europe.

Prior to RSA I run Digital at easyJet, which I joined from Nokia, where I developed a global Digital Marketing capability over 10 years.
