We’ve just announced Blue +Price Promise at EDF Energy. We’ve been working on the product for a while and I am very happy to see it live and selling well. This has been my first beginning-to-end product launch at EDF Energy and I have learned a lot about the industry, the organisation and the regulatory environment when working on it. Nothing like jumping at the deep end!
The product has launched with a massive TV and Internet advertising campaign featuring a derivative of the My Keepon Dancing Robot. Initial reactions are great: people love the product and the character, Twitter is full of positive sentiment and the YouTube video is clocking up views faster than anything we’ve done before.
Haven’t seen the Dancing Robot advert yet? Here it is!
UPDATE: There is a new ad:
UPDATE 2: And a newer one!

The dancing robot has taken off and its fan club keeps growing. I’m very aware of the conversations and wishes expressed around the Internet. Our orange character is currently busy filming but who knows whether he will find time in the future to model? We’re keeping everyone up to date at @edfenergy and of course in the meantime there is MyKeepon

Sorry. Still can’t see the connection between EDF Energy and a little dancing poo.
Funny though.
