Ta-dah!!!! : http://www.slashgear.com/ipod-touch-no-thats-not-an-iphone-in-my-pocket-057191.php
The Reg were right – WiFi, HD-less iPod touch, gorgeous looking with too little capacity. Ugly new widescreen Nano, iPod classic with big brains and a cheaper iPhone.
I do want one, but I also do want to wait, for 2 reasons: the touch lacks an email client, and the iPhone looks a lot more appealing in its new price range. If the prices carry over to Europe, I may go for the phone. If the prices, as I suspect, have been tweaked to make way for a more expensive 3G model for Europe, it’ll have to be the Touch. I don’t want the iPhone so much 🙂
The iPod nano also looks like it has been thrown together without too much thought other than we must make this “video enabled” in order to flog some more stuff.
Agree that the touch is really tempting to get but couldn’t spot it had bluetooth – would be good to hook it up to a set of wireless headphones that way.
Bluettoth wouldn’t do it for Apple: they want everyone to be wearing their set of white in-ears. The white headset is the targest viral advertising platform ever!
I can see that my iPhone is making friends 😉
Up for a second round of techy night this weekend? Besides the iPhone, we are bringing some cool new Nokia, Ericsson and Samsung models into the table…
