The fact that the BBC are looking into it shows that Insurance Aggregators have gone mainstream. The implications for online insurance brands are profound. The BBC’s involvement increases the pressure in two ways – by directly increasing consumer awareness to even greater extents, and by highlighting areas of concerns that neither aggregators nor insurance companies have understood fully nor may know how to address.
